Leveraging cutting-edge artificial intelligence and short-wave infrared (SWIR) imaging technology, the HPB AI-SWIR Intelligent Sorting System enables high-precision identification and efficient separation of PET bottles and other plastic materials, empowering the automated upgrade of recycling production lines.
AI-Powered Precision Detection
Built on a deep learning algorithm that analyzes multi-dimensional features including color, material composition, label characteristics and shape, the system achieves accurate differentiation between PET bottles and other plastic containers, ensuring superior recycling purity.
Dual-Sensor Collaborative Recognition
The system integrates an indium gallium arsenide (InGaAs) SWIR camera, which identifies materials such as PET, HDPE and PP by detecting their unique molecular compositions. It is paired with a high-resolution RGB camera that precisely distinguishes color variations, including transparent, blue, green and contaminated plastic bottles.
Advanced Self-Learning & Adaptive Capability
The system automatically classifies bottle bodies, caps, labels and various impurities (e.g., metals, silica gel). It also features self-learning functionality to adapt to new plastic materials and complex product variants, such as printed-label bottles, reflective bottles, black bottles and crushed/deformed bottles.
Modular Conveyor Belt Design
Offering flexible conveyor belt width options of 1200 mm, 2000 mm and 2800 mm, the system can be seamlessly integrated into diverse production line layouts.
High-Precision Nozzle Array
Equipped with 88–224 independent high-speed nozzles, the system delivers an ultra-fast response time of ≤ 1 ms and ensures sorting accuracy with a deviation margin of ≤ ± 2 mm.
Stable & High-Capacity Processing Performance
Boasting a processing capacity of 2–6 tons per hour, the system is perfectly suited for medium-to-high throughput recycling scenarios.
With its integrated design of intelligent identification and high-speed sorting, the HPB AI-SWIR Intelligent Sorting System provides plastic recycling enterprises with a reliable, flexible and continuously optimizable material separation solution.
